My Work

I'm the Managing Director of a leading Sign Manufacturing Company in Derby who specialise in large format digital imaging. We make all types of signs including full colour banners and hoardings for the music and construction industries.

My Music

Life's as hectic as hell at the moment and its good to chill out on sites like this. I'm an avid music fan of a really wide range of genres from Blues through Northern Soul, Hip Hop, Trance, Dance and Old School House!

I also like some of the good old classics from back in the day, stuff like - T Rex, David Bowie, Eric Clapton, Jimi Hendrix, Yes, Frank Zappa, Queen . . . you get the picture! I think if the BPM's are right or the melody catchy, it's just sorta right! If you like music, you like music! There's no substitute for technical brilliance and I appreciate that no matter what genre.

I love some of the new, up and coming bands and artists too. I'm a real fan of people like Alex Blood, who's a true wordsmith. I've known him since he first started ryhming in his school days, but he just gets better and better! He's a Hip Hop artist that's original and creative, always pushing the boundries and a real nice dude too.

Funk Bucket are another favourite. A band that have got a good vibe going with a really funky, party sound that you just gotta get up and dance to.

The Sons are also on my list of technically brilliant songsters. Paul who writes a lot of the lyrics is another clever guy. "Welcome Home again" is a personal favourite.

And you just gotta checkout C*Bob and the Sunshine Blues Band live! Catchy, foot-tapping, dancing kinda stuff that makes me feel it's summer all year round.

My Reason for Living

My Wife, whom I love deeply, she's my rock and we are as one! My Kids, whom I love and will protect to the death! My Mates, whom I love and would do anything for. My Holidays, and little excursions across the planet.

My Holidays

Oh yes, My Holidays. Well they are what I work for really. I simply love putting my feet up on the beach and getting pleasantly relaxed on bacardi and coke. Y tambien en Espana, Mi gusto mucho Sangria! In fact I love all things Spanish and have a real affinity to the place. It's the laid back approach that just seems to feel right to me.

Thanks a lot for the great feedback Andy (and your colleagues) 'It's all too much' although not one of my more recent compositions,is a real crowd pleaser, our die hard fans in the Cavern won't let me drop it from the set list. We were out in concert last Friday and did a 3 hour set of 35 original songs and they all went mental when they heard the intro to it. As soon as we are able to put videos up on here I'll put that one up. I'll try and root out an MP3 for 'Burnin Out' as you say you like the blues and a bit of soul too.
