Based on the songs of Singer-Songwriter Christopher "C*Bob" Hunt, C*Bob & The Sunshine Blues are a four piece outfit from Leicester playing their twist of upbeat acoustic music they've dubbed 'The Sunshine Blues'
Since 2005, the band have recorded and released 3 EP's to much success, selling over 1000 copies worldwide and receiving favorable reviews such as "incredible...great genuine, bluesy, rock 'n' roll" (Matchbox Recordings) & "exceptionally well recorded, a great, catchy song. This could do a storm in today's climate" (Future Music Magazine) along with landing airplay on London’s Xfm and Leicester's and Manchester’s BBC radio stations.
In promotion of their 2nd EP, My Time In The Sun, 2006 saw C & The Sunny Bs hit the road playing 50 plus shows over the UK from London's Dublin Castle and Hope & Anchor, to Liverpool's Cavern Club, to Leicester's Big Session Festival supporting The Levellers, Seth Lakeman and Nizlopi.
Taking a break from extensive gigging in 2007, C*Bob and long term friend/guitarist Robert Connolley, joined forces with old school friend's Ross Hillard (bass) & Dan Fowler (drums) to bury themselves in recording C*Bob's latest offering of 'Sunshine Blues'.
Recorded at the home of C & The Sunny Bs - The Paddocks Studio's in Leicestershire's countryside - the newfound 4 piece created C*Bob's best work to date and armed with a killer live performance, are now on a mission to make 2008, the 'Year of the C'
