I’ve lost my password how can I get a new one?
You are able to receive a new password via email by selecting the “lost password” link on the login screen or by visiting the reminder screen here: Send me a new password - Once you’ve entered your username or password you will receive a new password via email.

How do I change my password?
You can change your password by logging into your account and clicking the “change password” link on the left hand side of the dashboard under the “hot links” section.

What is a premium account?
A premium account is the account that gives music artists access to the special features of OOiZiT.com. Users benefit from being able to sell tracks, chart their tracks in the UK top 40 and get access to promotional features such as email marketing and web banners.

Is the site just for bands?
No not at all. OOiZiT.com is dedicated to exposing new UK music artists – Whatever the genre, whatever the location. You don’t have to be a music artist either, the site is open to anyone that enjoys music! Music listeners can even earn money from the site too – You’re able to sell tracks on behalf of music artists and receive commissions too.

Can people download my tracks or is it just streamed?
All tracks that are uploaded to OOiZiT.com whether this be free or paid, once purchased are available for download. Your track will also be streamed in the music player too – If your track is a paid for track then this will simply stream in the player until someone has purchased the track; however, they will be able to listen to the entire track free of charge.

How much are tracks to buy?
The music artists themselves stipulate how much a track sale will be; however, there is a minimum charge of £0.79p in order to cover all transaction costs.

How much will I receive from each track sale?
This depends on how many tracks have been purchased by the customer in that one transaction. Transaction charges will be applied to all sales, otherwise we wouldn’t be able to allow you to sell your tracks. To ensure all music artists receive the most money possible from track sales these transactions are staggered to in the hope that they purchase more – This brings the transaction charges down for every artist giving them more profit from their sale.

How do I upload a track?
You can upload a track for free (to be downloaded by anyone for free) or for sale (to be purchased by users via OOiZiT.com) by logging into your account, clicking “my Music” and selecting your preferred route (free or paid). Once you’ve selected one of these options you will be asked to complete a number of fields including track name, artist name and all relevant details for sale. All tracks must be original material and you must hold all relevant copyrights for that particular track. When you registered with OOiZiT.com you agreed to these terms and conditions.

Can I change my account name?
Once you have registered your account we’re unable to change the account name that you registered with. You are; however, able to terminate your account and re-register by emailing support using this email address: support@ooizit.com

Why can’t I use my email address for multiple accounts?
In an effort to minimise spam robots and false accounts we’ve limited account email addresses to one per account – This helps maintain the integrity of the site and tops spammers sending numerous emails to your ooizit.com account.

Why do I only get paid every 2 weeks?
Out payments take time to collate and release funds; therefore, we have to allow enough time for music artists to earn enough money for us to physically arrange payments. Out payments have costs associated to them (£5 for each out payment) to cover administration costs. Staggering payments by 2weeks enables users to generate enough revenue to cover these costs too.

Why is there a charge for payouts?
We have thousands of registered users all of which are generating sales which is fantastic news. Unfortunately this increases our administration costs of releasing funds; therefore, we require an administration fee for releasing these funds.

How much can I earn from selling tracks for bands?
This is stipulated by each band not by OOiZiT.com; therefore this varies for each sale you make. We advise emailing the band directly via their OOiZiT.com profile if you are unsure of their commission rates.

When I earn commission how long does it take to show in my account?
Transactions are staggered to ensure every artist and seller receives as much money as possible. We stagger payments for 5 working days, after this you will receive your commissions.

When I’ve bought a track where does this go?
All track purchases are added to your “music library”. You can access this by logging into your account and clicking “My Music” and then “Manage Music library”. All track will appear in the music library here. If you wish to download these purchased tracks you do so by putting a tick in next to each track you wish to download and then click the “download” option on the left hand side. This will compile all of the chosen tracks in to a .zip file for you to save to your computer.

When I’ve bought a track how do I download it to my PC?
All tracks will appear in the music library. If you wish to download these purchased tracks you do so by putting a tick in next to each track you wish to download and then click the “download” option on the left hand side. This will compile all of the chosen tracks in to a .zip file for you to save to your computer. You must save this to your computer before you’ve able to access the MP3’s.
