Well what can I say about myself?..... Firstly I’ve always loved music; I grew up on tamla motown, soul and reggae but also love pop and indie too. I must admit I still have a great need to listen to vintage soul!...mmmm so now you know, I’m a mature music luvver!!! BUT, I just really enjoy all types of music. My most recent gig was to see Paolo Nutini in Nottingham WHICH WAS ABSOLUTELY BRILL!!
I enjoy holidays. We usually have an early one on the motorbike touring around Europe, then a very lazy beach holiday chillin in Greece and with a bit of luck a few weekend breaks!
I have two kids. My son Alex follows a career in the music industry as an artist and producer, in the early days he was into hip hop (and I’ve got to say, he was one of the best white hip hop artist around in the UK). He is still very much into hip hop but also has a passion for ska, reggae, 70s funk and all types of music. We've had many a good night at gigs where ALEX BLOOD has brought the house down as you would say!!! This also gave us great opportunity on many occasions to see up and coming unsigned bands in and around Derbyshire.
I also have a beautiful daughter Hayley who is very busy building her career (not in the music world I might add) working for Seven Trent Water.
Almost forgot to say, my hubby is Mark and he just eats drinks and sleeps music, so quite a family affair really!!
