EASE are made up of the following members:

Hugh Higgins: Rhythm Guitar, Backing Vocals, Lead Vocals on U2B & My Dream

EASE started when Erik invited Amy to sing the song It Takes Time which he had written back in 1999. He later invited Hugh Higgins to play some of the acoustic guitar parts to the song. Both Amy and Hugh had been student of Erik when he was teaching the guitar. Amy made a couple of changes to the lyrics but instead of being a rock song that Erik originally visioned it had changed to a folk song to accompany Amy's voice and the final product was amazing.

"Reverie" was written by Erik back in 1997 at a time when ambient music was at it's peak. He had sent a demo of the record (he had made with his friend Stephen) to a couple of publishers but they had rejected it. Erik kept this project on hold until 2008 when he resurfaced it. The addition of Amy on lead vocals and electric guitar helped bring some fresh ideas to the track.

How would you describe your sound and what are some of your influences?
Our sound is mainly folk, however, we do have many influences such as Bruce Springsteen, Mike Oldfield. Tracy Chapman, Sting, Bob Dylan, Sheryl Crow, Bon Jovi

T in the Park. It\'s a part of Scotland

How did you come up with your name?
EASE is based on the groups initials: E - Erik (founder member) A - Amy S - Shuggie (nickname for Hugh in Scotland) E - Et Al we need some help at times

How did you get together? (if you’re a group etc)
Erik met Amy and Hugh through his guitar lessons. He had taught them separately but brought them together for the song It Takes Time and the rest is history.
