Born in Paisley in 1977, Erik McCall has been involved in music for the last two years. He is currently the lead guitarist of a Scottish group called EASE. Erik's Own is his solo project and on the track "Lost" Hugh Higgins of EASE guests on rhythm guitar.

How would you describe your sound and what are some of your influences?
Main influences in my music include - Mike Oldfield, Enya, Jean Michel Jarre, Vangelis, Yes, Santana, and many others

If you were to pick one festival to play what would it be and why?
Glastonbury. I think it is the event that separates the big boys from the small ones. Though T in the Park would be a close second.

Well Erik is my name and most of the music was done on my own.

What’s the big game plan?
I would like my music to evolve over the next few months, would like as many people to hear it. Let me know what you think.

How has your music evolved since you first began playing music together?
Well I originally recorded my music on a 4 track and it did not sound very good. I didn\'t do very much till I got EASE on track, and in the sideline I went and re-recorded Lost. The sound is so much better when recorded in Studio.
