Hi you guys. My name is Garshar aka Songbird, and I'm a singer/songwriter and actress from Dallas, TX. I've been singing since I can remember, as it all started in the church, but really didn't come into my own with singing until about the age of 15, when I first started writing songs. I have actually written so many songs that I don't know what to do with them. I'm a very creative person and not afraid to explore my creative side. I feel that I am very different from what people have heard, though I have been compared to so many artists. I have a great passion for all kinds of music. My baby is Neo-Soul, but I love to sing and write pop, country, country/pop, alternative, contemporary, soul/R&B, rap, rock, soft rock, and many others. Not sure where I fall in as an artist because I do it all and I have fun doing it. I have worked with known and local artists in the past but now I am trying to pursue my singing career. I love to act as well. I've been in 3 plays and I'm writing and about to produce and put out a few plays. Some of my songs are old and the music is not perfectly produced, but I believe that my skills as a singer/songwriter can take me very far in the industry.
