“Illuminations” is the new release by Copenhagen rock quintet “Late Night Venture”, which is now finding its way to listeners in Europe and elsewhere.

The “Illuminations” EP is produced by Cult of Luna ́s drummer / producer Magnus Lindberg and proves – as did the 2006 debut album – the expertise that Late Night Venture has acquired in creating alluring and cinematic soundscapes.

Within the span of only four songs, Late Night Venture presents a multitude of moods and textures ranging from the haunting melodies of “Love Respect Call” to the dark and ghostly layers of “Acorns Fall”.

Late Night Venture's music is rooted in late eighties and early nineties alt.rock. The band has developed a personal and challenging-yet- melodic expression through years of dedicated work on the independent scene – with numerous tours in various European countries.

Late Night Venture ́s first album - “Late Night Venture” - was released to great critical acclaim in Europe in 2006 with subsequent distribution in the UK and Japan.

For years, the band has been dedicated to a busy live schedule with more than 100 shows completed, including a two-week summer tour of 12 cities such as Paris, Amsterdam, Luxemburg, Berlin and Hamburg in 2008. Followed-up by an extensive tour around Germany in 2009.

The 2010 release of the EP is followed by shows in Denmark, Germany, France and the UK.

Recording of a new album will begin later this year with an expected release autumn 2010.
