Parallel are two London based musicians/producers, Steve McCarthy and Toby Griffin who work with a variety of singers, fusing vocals with original beats and infectious melodies to create a futuristic, retro funk. 

Parallel appear on 7 recent compilations from Park Lane Recordings and i-label. The latest release "Journeys" featuring Maria Angeli, is available soon on Cafe Chillout. 'Everything's Gonna Be Alright' with vocals by street singer Nelson, and recorded in New York's Battery Park, is released on the new compilation from Park Lane, Café Buddha 2. 

'Interstellar' a morning after chillout featuring vocals from Lollie, can be found on Cafe Ibiza and recent compilation from i-Label, Future Chill. Eastern influenced tracks 'Eastern Promise' and 'Too Saag Aloo' can be found on Cafe Arabesque and Cafe Krishna. 

The band are currently working on new material with former Darts member, vocalist Kennie Andrews who features on 'No Time 4u', 'You Won't Be Hurting Me', 'Come With Me Baby' and a storming version of the classic 'Walking On Sunshine' by Rockers Revenge. Also featuring in the line up is Italian born vocalist Maria Angeli who appears on 'Journeys', 'New Life', 'Deeper Inside' and 'Tomorrow's Clone'.
