This is our version of a backlash against the over produced trash in the charts which uses more studio trickery than talent to create 'music' with no actual musicians involved in the process. All you will hear is acoustic instruments, some percussion, a voice and a bit of reverb....if you don't like it go and listen to your Lady Ga Ga CD!. We have CDs available from our website!!!!.

How would you describe your sound and what are some of your influences?
Relaxocalmicallyclassicofolkishlyetherialistic, our influences are life, the universe and everything else....we basically love slow motion rock music and that is reflected in our songs....probably?
Have you ever been crowd surfing?
No!
What can people expect when coming to your gig?
Lots of mistakes with some fine songs inbetween
Any weird things happened to you at a gig?
Gigs are weird anyway so just turning up to them is strange enough
What’s your favourite album this year?
I don\'t know about this year but for me(Ian) my current favourite is Fingers & Thumbs by Polly Paulusma, Rachel really likes that one too but she\'ll probably say it\'s the latest Kings Of Leon album
Who would you like to support?
We\'ve supported the amazing Mr. Vinny Peculiar which was fantastic and in November we\'re supporting Julie Collings but apart from those two maybe Polly Paulusma or Emiliana Torrini?....whoever would let us support them.
Lager or Cider?
Neither for Ian(teetotal and always has been!) Cider for Rachel
If you were to pick one festival to play what would it be and why?
Glasto obviously because it\'s in a big field in the countryside so Ian could take his moth trap!

To which record label would you most liked to be signed to?
Lawnsound Music, they\'re just the coolest label in the world not to mention smart and good looking too
So, you think you’re going to big hey – What makes you so different?
I don\'t think we\'re going to be big because we\'re not really what the music industry is looking for, if we can do 4 gigs and 1 or 2 CDs a year that\'s big enough for us
What’s on your rider?
Tizer & pickled onion monster munch for Ian, cake and gin for Rachel
Have you ever thrown a TV out a window? If not, would you like to?!
I once threw a window out of a TV does that count?, I also ran into the middle of a crowded fire and shouted \'theatre\' but that\'s another story.
How has your music evolved since you first began playing music together?
Yes, it\'s got slower, we try to dismiss the trivial so things have evolved into songs that are difficult to sing and near impossible to play
What’s the big game plan?
To piss as many people off as possible and keep playing slow songs until Ians back gives out(which won\'t be long now!)
How did you get together? (if you’re a group etc)
We were introduced by a mutual \'friend\' on myspace
What do you do in the real world?
Rachel designs and makes wonderful jewellery as well as working at Derby uni, Ian is a lazy layabout who lives off his rich bitch wife(typical guitarist!!)
How did you come up with your name?
I think Rachel has her mum and dad to thank for the Rachel bit and Ian got the Lawn Grower bit from a conversation his wife was having with a neighbour who was admiring their garden....she said \'I do the flowers but Ian\'s the lawn grower\' somehow it just stuck
Give me 5 reasons why people should come and see you live?
Because we\'re really good, it wont cost them much, we\'ll probably be supporting someone worth seeing, they can enjoy a game of count the mistakes and Ian has the sexiest guitar in the universe so it\'s worth coming along just to see that!
