In 2009, two girls and one boy decided something wasn't quite right.
Having grown up being inspired by bands with passion, integrity and a voice beyond what their labels dictated, they were troubled by music's apparent descent into inoffensive mediocrity, and decided something needed to be done.
In spending their formative years gigging around their hometown of Oxford and all over the UK in previous bands (AllYouMiss/Caliber/Miazma/TheCourtesyKill), Liv, Suzie and Lewis became no strangers to the live scene, and after years of crossing paths on the gig circuit, finally decided to join forces.
Fusing a passion for kick-ass heavy riffs with catchy hooks, The Charm Assault is the antithesis to the insipid talent show clones and inoffensive radio-friendly 80's throwbacks intent on sucking the soul out of music. With a vitriolic live show to be reckoned with and songs once described as "So well written they should have vorsprung durch technik stamped on them", this is not your average middle-of-the-road rock cliché.

How has your music evolved since you first began playing music together?
Well we\'ve been doing this for 10 years, so hopefully better, tighter, and louder!

Just to have as many people as possible hearing our music and hopefully liking it...

Suzie and Liv met at age 5...started a band at 13... and lewis joined 10 years later!
