The SouL is a (((NEW)))music project/act created by me, songwriter producer Nick Myer aka The SouL. The project was briefly let loose to a free listening internet public a while back on mp3.com and the like and formerly known as Vlove. The SouL, (a name I was actually given way back in time by my father who sadly died in 2005) continues the project with a new lease of LiFe ..for worldwide online store releases and hopefully more. Not to be confused with a Japanese band of the same name. Trust me, I am "The SouL". As far as genre goes, it's flexible in terms of vocalists and style...so don't expect samey at all times...but do expect electronic dance-ability(sometimes retro from my archives), melody and souL and even some ballads, pop RnB kinda thang and melodic chillout tunes. Old and new material will emerge for release... Male and female vocals will feature, including some from Fliss (one of many guest singers) and even myself.. The SouL will be a platform to expose new singers for a variety of my original material. Also expect to hear re invented/remixed unheard archive material to pop its head above water to the listening crowd...So, a kind of retro time trip, interdimensional kinda thang and future stuff. Releases on Itunes and a whole lot more are the first steps - Look out for the new 2010 mix "Love in Ibiza (Summer Chill Edit)", "Love U all My Life", "Dreamy Days in Summer", Strange Life", "Love in Ibiza" ( that's the original 2001 edit), and a whole lot more to come... No but I was abducted by aliens( but not at a gig, they don\'t like crowds, they\'re weird that way)
What can people expect when coming to your gig?
An imaginary audience and a venue that doesn\'t appear to exist - explained- I\'m more of a recording artist in the virtual world. i.e. I sell my recordings/productions- see biog

Oh yeah all the time. Mainly Tescos before check out.
Give me 5 reasons why people should come and see you live?
Cos its so much better than seeing me dead. As I am immortal, the live thing is really the only option. Soz

To which record label would you most liked to be signed to?
One that I owned after receiving a massive amount of money to set one up. Or.. Sony.
How did you come up with your name?
My father gave it to me before he died ( that\'s no jest)
What do you do in the real world?
Eat, sleep, make music, suffer, create things, go to the toilet, spend the little I have...but that\'s now, what about the Future~ more money I am hoping and saving the world.
How did you get together? (if you’re a group etc)
I said to myself one day, we must get together. I agreed. I am so easy.
What’s the big game plan?
To Win.
How has your music evolved since you first began playing music together?
In a forward direction but sometimes backwards re my old releases that will see the light of day and the dark of nite.
Have you ever thrown a TV out a window? If not, would you like to?!
Yes when the BBC license people knocked at my door.

A house fast car a UFO and the ability to travel through all dimensions and time. PLus, money, lots of it
How would you describe your sound and what are some of your influences?
Pop /Dance electronic but some pop RnB chillout thrown in there too on some tracks kind of. Catchy hooks. No set rigid style, whatever mood takes me, but quite a few sparse lyric dance tunes will be released and some new full lyric songs too. Hey just good songs/tunes I hope. Creating Worthy songs has always been the goal( re music of course).
If you were to pick one festival to play what would it be and why?
Festival of Light in the second Universe~
Lager or Cider?
