With over 20 years of previous performance experience between them, and a shared interest in music of all kinds, Phil Maddocks and Ian Norbury joined forces to form rainlater in 2007. When singer-songwriter Phil decided to quit singing other people's songs and concentrate on his own he linked up with Ian and rainlater was formed. rainlater's songs combine Phil's lyrics and instantly familiar melodies with Ian's inventive instrumentation and arrangements. rainlater are gathering an appreciative following already, see them live and you'll appreciate why.
